I am supposed to have it permed but was rejected by a T&J hair salon in SM Dasmarinas because it is damaged and dry. I just have a hair treatment instead. But after a couple of weeks, the hair treatment wore off and my hair is back to its dryness. It was bleached a year ago to achieve the hair color I wanted that time. Thus, my hair got damaged by the bleach properties. It needs regular treatment that I seldom avail.

So to end the dryness and also to get a big hair style change, I decided to have a short hair instead. I asked my husband first and when he didn’t reject, I went ahead to a salon.

I have found a Korean salon near my work place and it is called Zero1StoryHairSalon. I never had a very short hair in my life except when I was 3-4 years old so I wanted to have my hair cut in the hands of an expert. 😀 It was a risky decision , I know hair grows but It will take some time. You can see the details of the salon at the bottom.

I think it was just right to have it cut short, It will grow anyway. I use styling cream to make it in place. After barely a month, it grew a bit longer than the pictures below. I am currently enjoying the #shorthairdontcare mantra when it comes to taking a bath and combing it. I just need to lightly squeeze it dry with a towel and I’m good to go. I also feel somewhat empowered with my short hair, quiet showed my fierce version. 😀

I am not really a fan of short short hair so I am now making it longer and it seems to be very high maintenance to have. Also, my hair is like my security blanket that hides my insecurities. 😀
